Crossville Women Arrested for Slew of Drug Charges

Cumberland County Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a white mini-van for initially speeding. The passenger of the mini-van was identified as Kayla Harper. A check through the dispatch revealed that Kayla had an outstanding warrant in Cumberland County for possession of meth for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ms. Harper was taken into custody and while deputies attempted to place her into a patrol car a small baggie fell on to the ground. The baggie contained a crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine. A female city officer arrived on scene and recovered 3 syringes from inside Ms. Harper?s shorts. The officers then searched the vehicle and found a black zip up bag containing several syringes and several small round containers. Inside the containers was crystal like substances believed to be methamphetamine. Amber and Kayla Harper were both transported to the Sheriff?s office for booking
