One person was arrested after a Facebook Swap and Shop went terribly wrong. According to reports from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, the victim made a clothing deal via Facebook with another female. They decided to meet at Vandever Market but when the victim arrived the so-called buyer was already there with two males in a 1999 Dodge pickup truck. One male reportedly got out to grab the clothes and then didn’t exchange any money and ran back to his truck. The truck then sped off and the victim followed trying to get her money. One of the occupants in the truck brandished a pistol and allegedly fired a shot at the victim’s vehicle. The victim slammed on her brakes and dialed 911. Bledsoe County Deputies made contact with the three suspects and transported them to the Cumberland County line for interviews. The interviews led to Nicholas Hayden Brock, age 19, of Pikeville, being named for grabbing the clothes and pulling a pistol on the victim. Nicholas Hayden Brock was placed under arrest for aggravated assault.
