Kellie Harper and her #11 Tennessee Lady Vols traveled to Tallahassee on Thursday for a top 25 match up against #18 Florida State. The Lady Volunteers were able to come back from a 15 point deficit however after going 9/16 from the free throw line Florida State pulled off the upset defeating Tennessee 92-91.
Despite the lost Rickea Jackson recorded a Double-Double with 31 points and 17 rebounds, she was also the leading scorer for Tennessee. Wake Forest transfer was right behind Jackson scoring 18 points for the Lady Vols. Sara Puckett scored 15 points and Tess Darby was one rebound short of having a Double-Double as well having 10 points and 9 rebounds. The Seminoles were lead in scoring by O’Mariah Gordon who scored 22 points and Ta’Niya Latson who scored 20 points.
