A Tennessee man is among 5 Fort Campbell Soldiers who were killed Friday when they military aircraft crashed Friday night into the Mediterranean Sea during a routine refueling mission. Chief Warrant Officer 3 Stephen R. Dwyer, of Clarksville, was 38.
The others who were killed have been identified as:
Chief Warrant Officer 2 Shane M. Barnes, 34, of California
Staff Sgt. Tanner W. Grone, 26, of New Hampshire
Sgt. Andrew P. Southard, 27, of, Arizona
Sgt. Cade M. Wolfe, 24, of Minnesota
They were all serving in the Fort Campbell Special Operations Aviation Regiment.
