Firefighters Called to Crossville Medical Group Walk-in Clinic; Source of Smoke Was HVAC Unit

Crossville Fire and Rescue posted to their Facebook page Monday that firefighters responded to a report of a commercial building fire located at the Crossville Medical Group Walk-in clinic. Upon arrival, the facility had been evacuated due to moderate smoke throughout the building. All occupants were accounted for and the source of the smoke was found to be coming from an HVAC unit. The unit was rendered safe and crews remained on-scene for smoke removal. Crossville Fire was assisted by Cumberland County Emergency Management Agency and Cumberland County EMS.
