Vanderbilt Basketball Player Arrested, Suspended After Allegedly Strangling Ex-Girlfriend

A Vanderbilt basketball player has been arrested and suspended from the team after he allegedly strangled his ex-girlfriend. Vanderbilt Police were called to the ex-girlfriend’s dorm room early Sunday morning.  The victim reportedly had a scratch on her shoulder and a red mark on her arm. Vanderbilt forward Lee Dort, age 21, was charged with aggravated assault and released on a $10,000 bond. Dort is due in court on December 8.
