Vehicle stolen from CMC Emergency Room pick up

Crossville City Police are investigating the theft of a vehicle from the Cumberland Medical Center parking lot. According to reports, a suspect wearing a yellow long sleeve jacket or shirt crossed Cleveland Street and took the victim’s white 2001 Isuzu Trooper while he was picking up his wife from the ER. In addition to the vehicle, two pet dogs, a Maltese and a Yorkipoo, and a cell phone were taken. The victim later reported his cell phone was tracking at Bootleggers on Highway 70. Police recovered the phone just east of there in a ditch. Both animals were located in the 3000 block of Chestnut Hill Road by their owner. The vehicle had not been located as of the report date.
