Uplands Design Group opened the monthly work session of the Crossville City Council with an update on progress for a proposed recreation facility. Architects presented 3 options that ranged from $40.3 million up to $47.5 million. Council was also interested in partnering with the YMCA, but the facility may be too large for the organization. It was suggested that select city staff and representatives from the YMCA meet with architects for input and guidance. A partnership with the Y could help offset some costs for construction and operation. Council directed City Manager Greg Wood to arrange that meeting.
