The Crossville City Council is considering a resolution to restrict through truck traffic on Main St

During the monthly work session of the Crossville City Council on Tuesday, council members discussed a resolution that would begin the process to restrict truck traffic in the downtown area on Main Street from the intersections of  Miller Avenue to Genesis Road. The resolution would designate Miller Avenue as the ‘truck route’ for through traffic. If approved at the upcoming business meeting on Tuesday, December 12^th, the measure would have to be approved by the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the Federal Highway Department and council would then have to approve an ordinance making the designation.
