Pat Tanner, owner of the Edgewood Restaurant, has passed away after battling health issues for the past several months. She was 69. In the 1980’s her mother purchased the iconic Edgewood Restaurant which has been a staple in Crossville since the 1940’s. Mrs. Tanner worked most of her life at the restaurant. After her mother’s passing she and her sister owned and continued working together in the family business. She is survived by her husband Rex Tanner, children Christy Sherrill, Jerry Netherton, and Jason and Darcy Tanner, and sister Brenda Nelson, brother Gordon Miller, and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services for Patsy Diane Tanner will be Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 3pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral home. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 to 3pm. Burial will be in Linary Cemetery.
