Cumberland County’s November unemployment rate was unchanged from October at 4.4 percent. That is up 0.4 percent from the previous year.
White County’s jobless rate for November fell 0.3 percent to 3.5 percent, down from October’s rate of 3.8 percent. However, it was 0.3 percent higher than the November 2022 unemployment rate of 3.2 percent.
Warren County’s November unemployment of 3.8 percent was significantly lower than October’s rate of 7.5 percent. Still it was 0.2 percent higher than the same time last year.
Eighty-nine of the Tennessee’s 95 counties recorded lower rates for the month.
Moore County had the state’s lowest rate in November at 2.4%. Perry County recorded November’s highest unemployment in Tennessee with a rate of 5.3%.
Nationally, unemployment dropped by 0.2 of a percentage point, moving from 3.9% to 3.7%.
