Friday, January 5th, District play began for the CCHS and the SMHS basketball teams.
Cumberland County High School played host to Livingston Academy. The Lady Jets fell to the Lady Wildcats 53-52 and the Jets dropped their game with the Wildcats 52-35. Tuesday, January 9th, CCHS travels to DeKalb County High School, live coverage of the action begins at 5:55 on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY.
Stone Memorial High School entertained Upperman High School. The Lady Panthers lost the Lady Bees 45-42 and the Panthers cruised to a 68-49 win over Upperman.
