Vehicle Stolen Tuesday at Crossville Motel Could be Headed to North Carolina

Crossville Police are investigating the theft of a 2007 Chevy Tahoe that was stolen Tuesday (1/9/24) from the parking lot of the Executive Inn.  The victim told police he left his vehicle running while he visited his girlfriend’s room at the motel.  The victim said he noticed a man beating on the door of another room stating “that he needed to leave”.  By investigating security footage Police were able to contact the occupant of the room who identified the suspect as his brother, 43-year-old Lee Atilano.  Police say the video shows Altilano going down the stairs and into the parking lot. Altilano reportedly drove the stoen Tahoe right out of the parking lot and could be headed back to North Carolina.  The Police Reports states the vehicle is valued at $6,000.
