Former Vols player Jerod May reportedly has been hired to replace Bill Belichick as head coach of the New England Patriots. Mayo has been the Patriots linebacker coach for the past five years. He played for the Patriots from 2008 to 2015 and won a Super Bowl ring with the team. Mayo played for the University of Tennessee from 2004 to 2007. According to ESPN, Mayo will be formally introduced at a press conference in the coming week.
