One person was shot near the campus of a private high school in Chattanooga Tuesday afternoon. It happened around 2:30pm. Notre Dame High School released a statement saying all student and staff members were safe and no students or staff were involved. The high school was on lockdown along with other nearby businesses and facilities. There was a heavy police presence at the high school and Chattanooga Police found one victim suffering from a gunshot wound who was transported to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
