The manhunt has ended for Kenneth DeHart, the 42-year-old suspect in the fatal shooting of a Blount County Deputy and wounding of another. DeHart was captured Tuesday afternoon in Knoxville after almost 5 days on the run. The Knoxville Police Department said he was taken into custody at a home on Linden Avenue. Kenneth DeHart is charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and felon in possession of a weapon. His brother Marcus DeHart and girlfriend Carrie Mathews were both arrested and charged with accessory after the fact. Marcus was held on a $1 million bond. Mathews has posted a $350,000 bond.
