Around 3pm Central Standard Time on Wednesday (2/28/24), Volunteer Energy Cooperative reported that all power outages associated with the storms that moved through the area had been restored, including the Lantana outage. At one point the power company reported 9 outages affecting about 1,893 members in multiple counties. VEC said the outage in Ten Mile, a community in northern Meigs and southeastern Roane counties, was due to a broken pole with downed lines. VEC thanked all members for their patience.
