Crossville City Council votes to delay Holiday Lake dam closing

In a special called session on Friday, the Crossville City Council approved a motion to allow an additional 7 days to keep the dam open on Holiday Lake. It had been scheduled to close on March 1 but will now remain open until noon on March 8. The motion by Councilmember Rob Harrison, came after a request from a property owner needing to complete shoreline construction. The motion was approved in a 3-1 vote with Councilmember Scot Shanks absent.
