Bullet Travels Through Grove Loop Home After Neighbor Accidentally Fires Rifle

Crossville Police were dispatched to a home in the 200 block of Grove Loop on Monday after a resident reported that her neighbor had accidentally fired a shot through her home.  It happened around 7:30 the night before. The bullet went through the siding of the home, traveled through the bathroom, into the cabinet underneath the sink and lodged in a wall between the bathroom and a bedroom closet. Police made contact with the man responsible who said he accidentally shot his rifle as he was putting it into his truck.  He told police he meant to come earlier in the day and make repairs to his neighbor’s house but got tied up at work.  There were no reports of injuries.
