Two athletes from the Upper Cumberland Region were represented well at the Tennessee Mr. & Miss Basketball Awards on Tuesday at MTSU.
Stone Memorial’s Cade Capps came runner up in the Class 3A TSSAA Mr. Basketball. Cade was runner up to Fulton’s Tyler Lee.
White County’s Celeste Reed was named the Class 3A TSSAA Miss Basketball. According to stats from MaxPreps, Celeste averaged a Double-Double in her award winning season with 15 Points Per Game and 10 Rebounds Per Game.
