The SkillsUSA Tennessee State Leadership and Skills Conference was held in Chattanooga, Tennessee April 14-17, 2024.
Over 2,500 students, teachers, education leaders, and representatives from business and industry joined together at this conference to engage, prepare, and celebrate America’s future workforce.
Cumberland County High School participated and competed at the SkillsUSA state conference and have announced their winners:
2024 Skills USA State Competition winners from CCHS:
Evan Payne is the state winner in Criminal Justice.
Bishop Higgins and Kelly McCartt finished 2nd in the state in the Drone Competition.
Other CCHS competitors include Levi Garrett, Zakk Angel, Kasey Phillips, Mason Kilburn, Jayden Hensley, Doug Staehler, and Johnny Perron.
