The Cumberland County Fire Department responded to 37 Marina Road in Lake Tansi Monday afternoon when a backhoe caught on fire while clearing brush. The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office was also dispatched and reports the backhoe was heavily damaged and nearly totally destroyed. There were no reports of injuries.
