Doctor and His Two Children Killed In Small Plane Crash in Middle Tennessee on Wednesday, May 15, 2024

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said three people were killed after a small plane crashed in Middle Tennessee on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.  It happened around noon in Leiper’s Fork.  Prior to the crash, there were reports of an explosion and the plane broke apart in the air, scattering debris over half a mile.  The plane reportedly left from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and was bound for Louisville, Kentucky.  The victims have been identified as Dr. Lucius Doucet and his two children.  Both Giselle and Jean-Luc Doucet would have graduated from Louisiana State University on Friday, May 17, 2024.
