Tennessee Records 9th Boating Fatality of the Year

Tennessee recorded its 9^th boating fatality of the year after a 17-year-old jumped from a boat in Hixon and drowned while trying to to swim to shore.  His body was recovered from the Chickamauga Reservoir shortly before midnight Monday and was taken to the Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s Office.
