Tennessee State Parks has announced the availability of new all-terrain wheelchairs at 10 more state parks, enhancing accessibility for visitors and bringing the total of parks with all-terrain wheelchairs to 22. Fall Creek Falls State Park and Sgt. Alvin C. York State Park are included in this latest list of parks to get the all-terrain wheelchairs. Cumberland Mountain State Park in Crossville and Cummins Falls State Park in Cookeville were among the first parks in Tennessee to get them. The chairs are free to the public and available for both children and adults. However, well before your visit, it is recommended that you contact the state park and reserve the wheelchairs.
