The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the break-in and theft of items from a home in the 2500 block of Plateau Road. The burglary is thought to have occurred between midnight and 7am on Saturday, July 13, 2024. The victims say two screen windows had been cut and the front door left unlocked. The victims also observed “Hey Dude” shoe prints left at the scene of the crime. A plethora of power tools were taken along with a refrigerator and stove. Loss was estimated at just under $5,000.
