Putnam County I-40 TDOT Bridge Inspection both directions at MM 303.6 Tuesday, July 23 from 7:30AM – 3:30PM

On Tuesday, July 23, 2024 in Putnam County, TDOT will be inspecting the State Route 24 bridge over I-40 near the 303 mile marker.   This will require lane closures on I-40 this Tuesday from 7:30 AM until 3:30 PM. Work will begin on I-40 eastbound in the right-hand lane before moving to the left-hand eastbound lane. In the afternoon, inspection activities will move to the westbound lanes with work again beginning in the right lane and moving to the left lane. No more than one lane will be closed at any time. Motorists are advised to use caution as they approach the work zone and follow the temporary traffic control devices.
