A Crossville woman has been charged after she allegedly threw a firework at a man during an argument.
It happened Thursday morning in the area of Burnett Street.
The victim claims he and 48-year-old Jeannie Marie England had been arguing over a phone. The victim said he was walking when England rode up on her bicycle and threw a ball firework, striking him in the head and neck.
Surveillance video confirmed the victim’s statements. The victim had a red area below his left ear.
Crossville Police caught up with England on West Avenue. She was taken into custody and transported to the Cumberland County Justice Center. England has been charged with Aggravated Domestic Assault.
