Fairfield Glade Police Department Issues Scam Alert

The Fairfield Glade Police Department is warning the public about a recent scam. On July 24th, a scammer called a Fairfield Glade resident posing as a Fairfield Glade Fire Department member to solicit a contribution. The Fairfield Glade Fire Department DOES NOT solicit residents for donations by phone. If you are contacted by someone claiming to be an FGFD member and asking for money, hang up, note their phone number and call the Fairfield Glade Police Department and report the incident. Stay safe and be skeptical of any situation where you are asked for money.
