I-40 TDOT Station Vandalized at Westbound 339 MM

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded Monday (7/29/2024) to take a vandalism report at the I-40 TDOT Station at the westbound 339 mile marker.  Multiple items were destroyed including a a propane tank, electrical pole, electrical wire, electrical box, and wooden siding was ripped off the back of the station.  Preliminary estimates place the damage at over $2,500 but less than $10,000.
