The Tennessee Volunteers football team are coming into the 2024-25 season ranked inside the top 15. The preseason AP Poll was released Monday afternoon where the polls put the Volunteers ranked 15th in the country.
Tennessee joins a host of other SEC teams ranked in the top 25 including: #1 Georgia, #4 Texas, #5 Alabama, #6 Ole Miss, #11 Missouri, #13 LSU, #16 Oklahoma, and #20 Texas A&M.
Tennessee are hoping to improve from last year after going 9-4 (4-4) with a win over Iowa in the Citrus Bowl.
The #15 Tennessee Volunteer will open up the 2024-25 campaign with a home game against the University of Tennessee Chattanooga on Saturday August 31st. The Vols second game will be played in Charlotte as they play in a nutral site game against #24 North Carolina State.
