The Cumberland County Election Commission says Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 is the first day to pick up papers to run for the 7th District Board of Education seat, which becomes vacant with the resignation of BOE member Rebecca Hamby, effective September 1st.
The deadline to qualify for the November 5th ballot is Wednesday, September 11 at noon.
