Retired Cookeville Police Department Captain Randy Brown has received the Tennessee Highway Safety Office Director’s Award for extraordinary efforts in supporting traffic safety. Winners were recognized Thursday (8/15/24) for achievements in traffic safety education, advocacy, and/or enforcement to reduce traffic crashes and fatalities through THSO grant-funded programs.
The Cookeville Police Department announced the retirement of Captain Randy Brown in June after 35 years of dedicated service to the community and his department.
