The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to White Hall Road in Crab Orchard shortly before 6pm Tuesday (8/20/2024) for a fight between multiple people with golf clubs in the street. A 44-year-old male victim and a female said that their dogs and the neighbor’s dogs had started fighting in the road and the victim and another 47-year-old male victim went to stop the dogs. According to the report, 33-year-old Travis Lee Sadula and 35-year-old Ricky Lyle Brown came from across the street with golf clubs to where the dogs were fighting. One victim told authorities that he thought Brown and Sadula were going to seriously hurt his dogs and a verbal argument ensued. Brown and Sadula allegedly started hitting the two victms with the golf clubs. Neither suspect was at the scene when Deputies arrived. The 44-year-old victim was treated by EMS and advised to get X-rays for a possible broken wrist. The other victim refused treatment. A Deputy later located Mr. Sadula at his residence on Braddock Street in Crossville where he was arrested and transported to intake for booking. The charge is Aggravated Assault and bond was set at $7,500 with a General Sessions Court date on August 26, 2024. Mr. Brown, who has a Madisonville, Tennessee address, was not immediately located.
