Crossville Man Racks Up Drug Charges on Labor Day

According to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, On Labor Day, while patrolling Peavine Road Deputies observed a small black car traveling at 74 mph in a 45 mph zone. When conducting a traffic stop at 8922 Peavine Road deputies made contact with a male in the driver seat identified as Hunter Tuttle. While speaking with Tuttle the deputy observed an AR-15 in the back seat floorboard. Tuttle told the Deputies that the gun was loaded and allowed the Deputies to secure the weapon.

After a search of Tuttle’s persons he was detained and then he stated he had a pipe in his pants. When
checking his waistline Tuttle had a sunglass case that contained a glass pipe and baggie containing a clear bag with
a crystal-like substance that Tuttle stated was a little meth. The substance weighed approx.0.47 grams. The glass
pipe was photographed and destroyed. Hunter Tuttle was charged with Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia. Tuttle was also issued a citation for speeding.
