Single Wide Trailer Burns Early Friday Morning on Potato Farm Road

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s was dispatched early Friday morning (9/20/24) to the 100 block of Potato Farm Road for a structure fire.  A single wide trailer was totally engulfed. The homeowner said he heard some noise coming from the direction of the trailer and when he looked at it, the trailer was already blazing. He said he grabbed a fire extinguisher, but it was too late. The county fire department arrived but decided to let it burn due the amount of damage already done.
