During the October work session for the Crossville City Council on Tuesday, council members revealed the initial six-month evaluation for City Manager Valerie Hale. Ms. Hale received a cumulative score of 4.87 out of five from the council. In other action, council discussed street closures and an alternate route for the Christmas Parade for 2024. The route would start at CCHS, proceed down Stanley Street and turn left onto West Avenue, then left onto 10th Street, left onto Miller and back to CCHS. The route would add 1000 feet to the parade and would be for 2024 only. Council will vote on the matter at their regular October meeting on Tuesday, October 8th at 6 pm in Crossville City Hall.
