Family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 PM prior to the service. A private family burial will take place at Round Hill Cemetery in Belfast, TN. He is survived by wife Stephanie Dankwardt; Son Gary Dankwardt, Jr; Daughters Heidi Franklin (Sean), Holly Mefford (Paul), and Amber Wiggins (Ken); Brother Robert Dankwardt Jr.; Niece Elizabeth Dankwardt; 8 Granchildren.
