High School Football

The regular season came to a close Friday night for the SMHS Panthers and the CCHS Jets.

At Stone Memorial High School, the Panthers played a Region game against the Macon County Tigers. The Panthers dropped a 54-0 decision to the visitors, ending the regular season with a 5 and 5 record. SMHS secured a State Playoff berth for the 12th straight season and will be on the road for round one playing at Loudon High School on Friday, November 8th. The kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 with coverage beginning at 5:45. Panthers football action airs live on Mix 99.3.

The Cumberland County High School Jets traveled to Sequoyah High School to battle the Chiefs in their final game of the season. CCHS recorded a 41-0 victory ending their campaign with a record of 3 wins at 7 losses.
