It was a first half battle like out of the show Yellowstone as the Montana Grizzlies played guested to the 11th ranked Tennessee Volunteers. Montana was able to keep within striking distance to Tennessee thanks to Money Williams however the big orange was too much for the Grizzlies in the second half. Tennessee sent Montana back to the ranch with a loss after a 90-52 final.
The Vols were led in scoring by Poland native Igor Miličić Jr who earned a double-double scoring 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to go along with them. Three Vols scored 13 points a piece including Felix Okpara, Chaz Lanier, and Cameron Carr. Zakai Zeigler rounded out the top scorers for UT with 11 points. Montana’s Money Williams was the only Grizzly to get in double digit scoring putting up 30 points.
#11 Tennessee improves to 3-0 on the season and will be back in action as they host in-state foe the Austin Peay Governors on Sunday November 17th at 2:00 PM.
