Putnam County Sheriff Eddie Farris announced Friday, “After months of drug investigations, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office launched a countywide operation called ‘Seasons Greetings.’ On Monday, December 2, the Putnam County Grand Jury indicted 18 individuals on various crimes, mostly for illegal drug crimes.”
On December 6, 2024, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office along with other law enforcement partners served multiple active arrest warrants on multiple individuals living in Putnam County. As a result, 8 individuals were arrested and charged. Several types of drugs, including Methamphetamine and Fentanyl, were discovered as well as other drug paraphernalia.
Sheriff Farris stated that this investigation is ongoing and there are still multiple individuals with outstanding warrants that will soon be found and arrested. (Photos submitted by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office)
