Rifle Found On Side of Road Near Sparta Hwy/Northside Drive Intersection

Crossville Police responded to the intersection of Sparta Highway and Northside Drive on December 21, 2024 after a rifle was found on the side of the road.  The weapon was a Mossberg Patriot 30-06 and a check came back not stolen. Police took possession of the rifle and a property receipt was issued to the man who found the firearm.
