Cumberland County High School and Stone Memorial High School tipped-off District play on Thursday.
At CCHS, Cumberland County played host to Livingston Academy. The Lady Jets posted a 50-36 victory over the Lady Wildcats and the Wildcats got past the Jets 62-43. Next up for the CCHS teams will be home games against DeKalb County on Tuesday (1/14). Catch the action live on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY.
Stone Memorial traveled to Baxter to take on the teams at Upperman High School. The home teams picked up wins as the Lady Bees downed the Lady Panthers 71-42 and the Bees posted a 62-45 win over the Panthers.
