A man has been charged in connection with his wife’s death after her body was found in the back of a vehicle in Fentress County.

On Saturday, January 18, 2025 Fentress County Deputies were dispatched to conduct a welfare check at a home on Banner Springs Road in Jamestown.  According to a press release from District Attorney General Chris Stanford of the 31st Judicial District,  Nathan Allen Wilson reportedly admitted to investigators that he hit his wife Amber Wilson with a vehicle in McMinnville. The DA says that “the vehicle used by Nathan  Wilson to kill his wife, Amber Wilson, was determined to be a damaged 2013 Ford Explorer.” However, the body of Amber Wilson was found in a Jeep Renegade which authorities believe Nathan Wilson drove to Fentress County.  An autopsy found that Ms. Wilson died from blunt force trauma consistent with being struck by a motor vehicle.  The DA says the alleged homicide occurred between the late hours of January 17 and the early morning hours of January 18 in Warren County.

Nathan Wilson has been charged in Fentress County with Abuse of a Corpse with bail set at $150,000.

Mr. Wilson is charged in Warren County with Criminal Homicide, Tampering with Evidence and Abuse of a Corpse.
