The Stone Memorial and Cumberland County basketball teams played host to District opponents Friday night.
At SMHS, the Panthers and Lady Panthers took on the squads from DeKalb County High School. The Lady Panthers posted a 70-56 win over the Lady Tigers and the Panthers rolled to a 79-45 win over the Tigers in the final game of the night. Cumberland County took on the teams from Upperman High School. The road teams picked up a pair of wins as the Lady Bees got past the Lady Jets 48-34 and the Bees picked up an 85-51 victory over the Jets. The CCHS teams will make-up their games at Bledsoe County on Tuesday (1/28). Live coverage will air on 102.5 WOW COUNTRY.
