The Tennessee District Attorney General’s Conference has released the 2024 Immigration Report. According to a press release from 9th Judicial District, District Attorney General Russell Johnson, there were approximately 2,719 reports of individuals charged or convicted of crimes in Tennessee that were not legally in the United States from October 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. Over this three month period, 73 out of Tennessee’s 95 counties reported individuals charged or convicted of crimes that were not legally present in the U.S. Most of the charges were for traffic-related offenses. In our area, Cumberland County reported 23. There were 29 in Putnam; 23 in Rhea; 5 each in Roane and Van Buren; and 2 in White County.
