Swimmer Drowns off Skull Island in Hamilton County

Authorities in Hamilton County said someone drowned Wednesday afternoon while swimming off Skull Island Campground at Chickamauga Lake.  Multiple agencies responded and the body was recovered.  Officials did not release the victim’s name pending notification of family members.
