Cumberland County Man Reports a $33,000 Fraudulent Withdrawal from his bank

A Fairfield Glade resident reported a major fraud incident involving unauthorized bank withdrawals and a suspicious email campaign targeting his contacts. According to Cumberland County Sheriff Department reports, a resident of Fairfield Glade contacted authorities after noticing $33,000 had been withdrawn from his savings account on April 2, 2025. The transaction was listed under “Barclays Bank De Collection” and associated with the name Randal Bellamy. Prior to the large withdrawal, the victim noticed four suspicious micro-transactions on March 19 and March 24, ranging from $0.27 to $0.89. These smaller charges were labeled as coming from “Bankaozk” under the name Kathy Zmudzinski. On April 3, the victim discovered that 124 of his email contacts had received an unsolicited invitation to a party. The incident has been reported to the FBI.
