Tennessee Basketball Announces Non-Conference Schedule

Basketball season will be here before you know it and the Tennessee Volunteers Men’s Basketball team has announced their Non-Conference schedule for the 2025-26 season.

The season will tip off for the big orange on November 3rd as they host Mercer. The Vols will stay in Knoxville for most of November hosting: Northern Kentucky (Nov. 9th), North Florida (Nov. 12th), Rice (Nov. 17th), and Tennessee State (Nov. 20th). They then head to Las Vegas for the Player’s Era Championship. They will start that tournament against Rutgers on November 24th then have a Elite 8 rematch with Houston the next day. Baring results the Vols opponent for the third game will be on November 26th or 27th.

For the month of December Tennessee will travel to New York to take on Syracuse apart of the ACC/SEC Challenge. The Vols will then head to the state capital of Nashville for a neutral site match up against Illinois on December 6th. UT will wrap up non-conference play and the year 2025 with a three game homestand against Louisville (Dec. 16th), Gardner-Webb (Dec. 21st), and South Carolina State (Dec. 30th). The Vols will start Southeastern Conference play on January 3rd.
