Putnam County EMS Press Release 08/27/25:
PUTNAM COUNTY, TENN – At approximately 10:20am, a Putnam County Ambulance was transporting a patient non-emergently on Willow Avenue in Cookeville when a motorcyclist struck the rear side of the ambulance. The ambulance crew and patient onboard the ambulance were all taken to Cookeville Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. The person driving the motorcycle was also transported to Cookeville Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
The crash is currently under investigation by Tennessee Highway Patrol. No additional information is available at this time.
